A friend of mine says you need to know just two words: Jesus Christ

Jesus means “God rescues” and Christ is a title which means “God’s ruler” - Jesus’ death on the first Good Friday was God’s rescue from our sin, and Jesus’ resurrection on the first Easter Sunday means God has put him in charge of us all.

The first Christian sermon concluded: “God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ…repent and be baptised every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins (Acts 2:36-38). Many people changed their lives then, and it's the same for us now.

Why not take our short “Simply Christianity” course or join a small group? Or listen to a sermon here online or in church?
